Very good Mediterranean food!! We had the short rib, shrimp tangine, fried halloumi, and greek donuts for dessert. Everything was excellent!! Fast service at the bar with Ryan bartending. Great walnut old-fashioned, and very pretty restaurant. Great experience all around!
We enjoyed a very lovely dinner. We were able to sit in the bar area as we had no reservations. Our server was so delightful and sweet and had great recommendations. Everything we ordered was very tasty and beautifully presented. The atmosphere feels intimate and classy. We would definitely come back! Highly recommended.
Phenomenal food, excellent service, and amazing staff! 😄 The Salmon, Shrimp, Dolmas, Tumeric Rice, Falafel, and Lamb were some of the best prepared Mediterranean dishes we've had in a long time, incredible and done superbly well! 😊 The deserts; Greek doughnuts and Baklava were the perfect end to our dinner and our server was very polite, friendly, professional, and made our experience at Cypress very enjoyable
Delicious food. I was surprised just how flavorful the food was. I got the cypress bowl and it had everything I wanted and the tastes all complimented one another. Definitely recommend if you like or want to try Mediterranean food.
Loved everything about this place! The staff was so friendly, the restaurant had a warm, cozy vibe, and the food was just phenomenal. I had the chicken gyro pita wrap (no feta), and it was the best gyro I’ve had by far. My husband tried the Mediterranean burger, giving it a solid 8/10, especially with the ketchup. Great portions, amazing flavors—can’t wait to come back!
After a Sunday day of 3 wine tastings we had no reservations and somehow got a late evening, picnic table, walk-in seating outside Cypress Restaurant. Not only was it one of the tastiest and most memorable meals of our life, but we were graced with Harmony, unquestionably earth’s best server. She recommended the perfect drinks, dishes and bottle of wine to share amongst our party of four. Her kindness, grace and sunshine lifted our spirits and fed us a glow that will last a lifetime. Thank you Harmony for this priceless evening🙏
We were a group of 10 and got a private set menu for lunch. The room was beautiful, service was excellent and the food was absolutely divine. The chef had used vegetables which aren’t the most standard ones you see in menus to create dishes and flavors which were so unique and fresh. Highly recommend this spot!
Every dish and cocktail I've enjoyed at Cypress has lived up to previous visits (there have been many). The freshly baked pita bread and dips are what I continue going back for time and time again. If you haven't tried their muhammara, labneh + hummus - walk, don't run! They truly do the best mezze in the Willamette Valley.
We had Mother's Day lunch here today. First time, and all I can say that it was delicious. Everthing tasted so good, fresh and the fries were super yummy ( homemade ketchup too, had a twist on it). Our waiter Ben C deserves kudos, and so do the waitresses. I most definitely recommend this meditarenien Restaurant to everyone who likes European food. It is definitely a must. Prices are extremely affordable and it's worth every bit of it. So thank you for a wonderful Mother's Day Lunch ❤️💐
My wife and I took an overnight trip to Mcminnville area and I searched for somewhere nice that we could eat. I came upon Cypress and although the menu seemed limited at first, their options were all intriguing. We set a reservation for 5:30 on a Saturday. When we walked in there was only one older gentleman in the whole place so we were greeted promptly and sat immediately. I was wondering that since no one was there, that I perhaps made a mistake. That was NOT the case. Plants lined the ceiling and the bar and made the space beautiful and inviting. Very nice ambiance! We started with a special appitizer, Halloumi cheese and sweet potatoes. Oh man, absolutely incredible flavor and texture. That season and sauce on these were spectacular. If they are offer this, get it! We then had their seasonal salad which also was fantastic! Light and flavorful and we ate every bite. She got the salmon and I got the short rib and a side of brussel sprouts to share. All were incredible. The flavor experience here is off the charts. We kept saying how amazing the meal was all throughout the evening. I had 2 old fashions and my beauty had 2 paper planes. Both cocktails were far above average. They were excellent! You can't have a great overall experience without a fantastic server. Harmony was amazing! She checked in on us regularly ensuring everything was good and filling our waters. By this time the place was filling up with guests but we still had the same level of service. Thank you, Harmony. The pricing is what you would expect for an amazing meal. It was just over $200 including top for 4 drinks, 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 1 side. It was so worth it! This was an incredible meal that my wife and I really enjoyed! Thank you, Harmony and thank you Cypress. Don't you go anywhere. We will be back next time we are down this way.
